In 1983, NMWA purchased the former Grand Masonic Lodge of the National Capital. Designed by architect Waddy Butler Wood in 1907, Lascaris Design began this award winning renovation of the elegant Renaissance Revival building in 1984 and in 1987 the conversion to a museum was complete.
